Jack Hingert (born 26 September 1990) is an English-Australian football (soccer) player, currently as defender for Hyundai A-League club, Brisbane Roar. Hingert previously played for former A-League club North Queensland Fury.
Hingert was born in England but has played most of his football to date in Australia. He spent time at the youth academy of Crystal Palace in London [1] before joining Knox City in the Victorian State League.[1] While with Knox City, Hingert attended Wesley College in Melbourne,[2] then in 2008 moved to Peterborough United in the UK. He returned to Australia in 2009 and played for Dandenong Thunder in the Victorian Premier League.[3]
In July 2009 he joined North Queensland Fury[4][5] and appeared 11 times over the next two seasons before returning to Dandenong Thunder in 2011 during the A-League off-season. In July 2011 he signed a two-year contract with Brisbane Roar.[6]
